Ok i had a few problems with system lock ups, games crashing all the time and funny blue lines going across the screen when in games.

After hours of testing it seems to come down to a screwed SLI Bridge. I have removed the bridge yet the computer still states its running SLI... Is this possible? If so what benifits does an Bridge offer?

Also any ideas on where to get a new bridge from?

SLi can run without a bridge; but on the more powerful cards there isn't enough bandwidth between PCI-E slots, hence the need for one.
 
Well, it will work, but the high-end cards really need the extra bandwidth the bridge gives them. Source a one on an auction site, it shouldn't be too expensive.
