Quick Question - I've taken delivery of my 2 460 cyclones and during install can't find a bridge for the 2 cards to link, is this normal? Do I need a bridge? Not had NV in Sli before.

Mmmm - interesting ... I bought 2 5850's and they came with that, but not with the 460's? I thought the cards would have a bridge not the motherboard. Up the attic I go looking for the box :rolleyes:
 
Asus Crosshair III - looking at their website now, if its not supported then I'm a plumb and I'll be buying a new MB lol

For SLi motherboards, the connectors come with the motherboards, with Crossfire, they come with the cards.
 
You don't absolutely need the bridge in SLI - tho as your motherboard doesn't support SLI I guess its a moot point. Generally the performance hit from not having the bridge is minimal.
