I was wondering if you have to do anything extra with the settings other than enable the sli option with the nvidia options to get the most out of sli?

Or does it only give extra boost with games that show they are compatiable with sli?

If someone could explain how it works would be nice, like with the two seperate memory and such.

Thanks

He has a 9800GX2...

SLI has an auto fallback which will attempt to run SLI on unsupported titles but generally for best performance you need an SLI profile for that game/application - you can use nHancer to customise profiles or to try and make a profile for unsupported applications.

SLI works in 2 different ways in general - in one method each card builds an alternate frame of the current scene in the other method the scene is split in 2 (usually top and bottom) and each card only renders half of the scene.

So I want to get nhancer and make profiles for each of my games I want to take advantage off? Is it easy to use?

Thanks for all your comments. Yeah I did realise I didnt have a sli board.
