Hello all,

this is probably a very silly question but I'm going to ask anyway :o
would it be possible to run two different cards in sli. The reason I ask is that I have all the hardware, mobo, bridge etc the two cards are both nvidia, one is a geforce 560 gtx the other is a geforce 8800 gtx,
would I see any benefit from running the two?
I thought I might as well use the 8800 if I can ;)

NO SLI for that combo, but why not test out running 8800 for a physx card and see you you get any boost in performance on a physx game of course.

I've heard about this a number of times. Is it possible to run an AMD card (say a 7970) as your primary card and then use a cheap Nvidia card to allow you to have PhysX? Or is that not possible?
