Hi, I'm trying to get my two 8800's working in Sli but with no success.
The 2 cards are a Palit 8800 GTS 640mb & a BFG 8800 GTX 768MB OC2. I know they're different models but was informed that GTS & GTX are still compatible in SLI?
X2 Black Edition 5000+
Windows Vista SP1
4gb geil ultra ram
2x 160gb Western Digital SATA HDD's in RAID
OCZ 600W Stealth Xtreme PSU
I'm using the 169.25 Forceware, my BIOS is configured for dual cards and yes I have plugged the sli cable into both cards.
When I first turned the computer on Windows appeared to be automatically detecting the second card (the GTS). I rebooted and fired up device manager. In device Manager both cards are listed but there is a little yellow exclamation mark next to the GTS card. When I fire up the Nvidia control panel there is also no SLI menu under '3d Settings'.
In device manager under properties for the GTS it gives this rather vague paragraph:
My first thought was not enough power seeing as I only have a 600w PSU but I doubt the computer would start at all if this was the case...
Any help is much appreciated. o7

If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.
