SLI & Dvd's ?

Hi All I want to know some information regarding SLI ,is it really only for gamers ,or if you were a big DVD watcher,would you gain anything on the graphic side ? what i,m saying is it a waste to get if you just watch DVD'S ?

its a wate all round unless your running very high resolutions and even the the difference seems to be very little, and it will have no effect on dvds
