Hi there,

so I have two 470s Forzer II and the EK nickel waterblocks to go with (both ordered from OCUK).

I'm looking for the EK dual Bridge, to connect the two (i think there is one PIC slot between the two cards, they are on the Asus Rampage II Extreme board.

Anyways, I was hoping someone would be able to tell me me what GFX connector I would need? and do I need one per card or one between cards?

Thanks.

I think you need the tripple not dual as it 3 slots when taking into Acounts the one in-between the cards, I made the mistake on ordering the dual. And it turns out I needed the slightly longer one. If you are 100% sure you need the dual version then I got on in mm pretty cheap as it's useless for me (hope this is ok for the mods).

thats one way tho i found my gtx 580 leaning downwards at the power connection ends the bridge holds its ridged and straight makes pluging them in and out a breeze as well.

What about the TFC Feser 1/4" Variable BSPP Variable SLI VGA 1/2/3 Slot ?

Could I use this? (trying to save some pennies for a SSD)

Ek bridge works a treat go for the parallel one as both cards will be same temp when in sli.

also if u go for the Tri bridge due to spacing on your board u will have to get a blank as well

these bridges look awful

for the same price [probably less actually] you can buy a buy a bitspower dplug set

these look miles better than these horrendous things.

OK OK, so they look awful :P so thats maybe a no, plus I do really want the cards running at about the same temp.

So, the Ek Parrell bridge, can anyone tell me if i will for sure need the dual, or the tri? I have one slot between the two cards so its.

PIC-E, SLOT, PCI-E

Thanks =)

Ok I've seen some images and its clear to me I need two.

Looking at one of the images of the tri, it looks like it is card, slot pace card. so that would work fine, bow is the dual the same, and if so, why would i not want to use it? surely the dual one isn't card on card as all gfx are thought to take up two spaces anyways, there are no mobos i know of that dont have a slot space between the two pci-e slots =/

Thanks.

No the cards will still take up two slots but u can fit low profile cards in the slots they block if u change the video out plates

Choice I guess. It's strange that most people in the project log section have gone for serial if there are benefits to parallel.
