Ive currently got a "Leadtek winfast 6800gt 256mb SLI GFX" card.
I bought my dfi SLI lanparty mb and GFX card about 6months ago, so in the future i could add another 6800gt and have SLI capability.
Now i cant seem to find anywhere that sells that 6800gt card.
What options do i have to get SLI gaming on my system.
The only card i can find close to my 6800gt is a "Leadtek GeForce 7600 GT 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-080-LT)"
or a "Leadtek GeForce 7600 GT Extreme 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-083-LT)"
CAn i use one of them together with my existing card for SLI?

No you need another 6800GT to go SLI. Theres a few 6800GTs in MM, but you need 250 posts to get in there. They are selling for about £80 so id sell your existing 6800GT and replace it with a 7600GT, then add another when youre ready for SLI.

SLI 6800GT gets about 3500 in 3dm06, my SLI 7600GTs get over 6000 :) and almost 3500 for a single 7600GT.

Its a nice idea in theory. The 7600GT is close to 6800Ultra performance, so not a huge step up for a single card. But if he buys a 7600GT now & then waits to buy a 2nd card, by the time he wants to buy another for SLI they will probably be discontinued same as his 6800GT is now.

If you sell you 6800GT & add some extra cash you can buy the X1900GT from £140 or slightly faster X1800XT for £150. Either would offer performance better than the SLI combo you were after for a similar price. Either would be better value for money than the other options mentioned.

Yeah thats true, the plus point of SLI is you can add another card later, however, its also its biggest disadvantage as getting a 2nd card can be difficult as the OP has already found unless you buy 2 card very close together
