Sli Hacks

I think my next graphics card will be nvidia and as I can't see myself changing my cpu or mobo in the near future I was wondering if I have any options when it comes to SLI as my mobo (maximus gene II) doesn't officially support sli.

Sounds like that is only compatible with x58 chipsets though :C

Yea, that looks like a clever hack and has been confirmed to work with your board in at least two instances.

However, please bear in mind that it is very much an unofficial hack and is impossible to guarantee how well it will work with your particular configuration. That said, looking at the results I would certainly try it out before buying a new board when you do get two Nvidia cards.
