SLI help - GTX460

Hi,

I have an GTX460 can i sli it with anything or does it have to be in the GTX range?

When implementing SLi you need identical GPUs at the same clock speeds

It may be obvious but you also need an SLI capable motherboard.

Must be the same GPU, so it must be another GTX460 I'm afraid...

You can use different cards, but they have to be the same model and memory to work in SLI. If they are just different speed, they will get clocked to the slowest cards speed.

What a lot of people do is stick older cards in to just process PhysX.
