Now here's the issues:
- There's only 2 6pin power cables coming from the PSU. However my current GPU needs both of these. I got some weird adapters with my new GPU: 2x 4 pins going to a 6 pin, and I've got two of them. Don't know what to do with them.

- If I have the new GPU in, the HD Audio wire from the case to the mono won't reach.

Anyway I don't know what to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Mike

The PSU has 2 x 6 pin and 2 x 8 (6 + 2) pin connections, theses are modular so would need to find these out, you use these to power the gpus rather than the supplied moles to PCI-E adapters.

Is it possible to route the cable under the gpu anyway?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I'm something of a dummy, could you perhaps explain in more simplistic terminology? The 2 PCI-e power cables (6pin) are being used up by the original GPU, I can't really see a way of powering the second though.

I put the HD audio cable under the GPUs and it worked like a dream. Cheers, don't know why I didn't think of that.

Regards,
Mike

The PSU is semi-modular with some cables permanently attached and some you attach as you need them.

There are two PCI-E power connectors permanently attached (I think both on the same cable) and I assume these are the ones you're using now.

You should have a spare cable which plugs into one of the red sockets on the PSU and this has another 2 PCI-E power connectors.

Hi guys,

I found the red plug, but there definitely isn't any other PCI-e power thingies (6-pin). I'll have a look in the PSU box and see if I can find anything. Should I resort to the adapters that came with the GPU? If you don't know which ones I mean then I can post a screenshot.

Cheers guys.
