For a good year now I have used the 560ti SOC from Gigabyte which has been great! Now I purchased another at good value as I thought it would give a considerable boost to frame rates. Which I'm pleased to say it has. :)

However when SLI is enabled in some titles im getting a random flickers/specs on the screen from time to time, which totally distracts me from enjoying the games.

So far this is very prominent in Dota 2 with text, however I have also seen flickering in Skyrim too. (Heaven bench has flickers in some areas.)

I have remounted the GPU's , remounted the SLI bridge, tried countless drivers, also set to stock clocks and with overclock on afterburner, both produce the same results.

Hey mate, sounds like the new card you bought is artifacting, as when you enable SLI it happens therefor its the 2nd card. Those games you have been playing are quite demanding (I use Heaven for stresstesting my card) which would cause it.

Go with what Arcane said and try them on there own, but the new card sounds suspect.

Couldn't answer that i'm afraid, I would have thought Gigabyte's warranty is more than a year though?

Wow, now this gets interesting, just put the card in on its own, absolutely perfect, not flawed in anyway.

Only thing I have to do is swap them round, surely that cannot do anything though. They are the exact same card down to even the same bios.

If they both work fine on their own at least we know the cards aren't at fault. From there i'd try a different SLI Bridge and after that the magic cure all, the reformat if it's not too painful.

This is a really recent format to Windows 8? Could this be the Achilles' heel?
