Just put together a new system comprising a DFI NF4 SLI-D mobo with a single 7800GTX card. Every time the OS boots I get a warning popup from the system tray telling me the graphics driver has reverted to single card mode as one of my cars has been removed.
Err, what? Why is it doing this? I could understand if I'd had two cards and configured SLI and then removed one but I've never had two cards so why is it assuming I want to use SLI? Can I turn this off somehow?
