sli on current setup

I've just got a second cheap gtx 780 off overclockers to sli, question is based on my current mobo and setup is it time to upgrade? I don't have a great I5 as it doesn't clock past 4.4ghz without blue screen.

What's your thoughts?

You could pop in a 26/700k as the extra threads will help in a few games with sli. Though as your at 2560x1440p your i5 might not bottleneck as much as someone on 1080p. 4.4ghz is pretty much ok an ic with sli 780's. I've ran my cpu in sig at stock with two cards and things were fine.

All your current kit should make good use of a second 780, stick with what you have for now

Cool, so basically give it a go and see how it works then. I've considered going to x99 platform but seems a lot of money for a small gain but hotter and more power hungry.
