Im going to upgrade soon and im going to go for a nice new conroe. Now I have to decide whether to go for nVidia or ATI. Ive always been an nVidia fan but im also considering getting 2 cards so Im not sure whether to go for SLI or Crossfire. Would it actually make much difference which I go for?

Just get a single G80, everyone rekons they are better/or just as fast as SLi/Crossfire, and even though they are going to be £500, thats cheaper than 2x cards still, and you have the option to add another one further down the line.

Doens't matter about DX10, makes no sense buying a G80 for that, but if hes going to buy 2x cards, then it does make sense to buy 1x single G80, as its cheaper, and same/or better performance so everyone says, but well have to wait till its out to see.
