So I've given up on the upgrade train as I don't think there's a massive improvement to be had jumping from a 780ti to a 980 for an extra gig of vram. I'll wait a year or two and look again.
So I'm still tempted with a second 780ti for sli but was wondering if that money would be better spent on a gsync monitor. I love my Dell 27 ips screen and it's only 6 months old but the tearing is doing my head in a bit. I've tried v-sync and adaptive v-sync but it just feels weird or slower.
Christmas is round the corner and I've got my chrimbo money to spend so would you go sli on the 780ti's or would you save up a bit and get an Asus ROG Swift? Or does a swift need sli to get the best out of it anyway to approach 144hz for the new titles?
