Hi Guys,

Looking for a suggestion/advice.

I'm looking to either get another GTX660ti (if by a miracle I can find my one)

or

Get a completely new card like a GTX980

If I was to go down the route of a new card what manufacturer would you recommend?

Hazard is right. 970 for 90% of the performance of the 980 at 60% of the price.

Whatever you do, don't go the 660ti sli route. 970 or 980 are both miles better.

Cheers for the quick reply's guys :D

Looks like i'm getting a 970/980 then. What manufacturer would you get? i used to stick with EVGA but wondering what you guys think

and power supply wattage to run 2x 970's

If you are getting a reference card, it doesn't really matter what manufacturer, all are made in the same factory.

My 980s are an Inno3d and a Zotac (was sold as OcUK). Both have the EVGA SC bios on, and I've actually modded that bios for a 1300 base clock now.

If you are after non reference, I'd probably most like the hercules x4 ultra air boss thing.

My AX1500i reports ~500W absolute max draw with 980 SLI and 4790k. Your 650W PSU should be fine.

i got the inno3d 980 delivered today and it smashed my crossfire 6850s... not sure if that comparison helps you lol. i went from playing skyrim on high and hardly any AA to all on ultra and max settings.
i have overclocked slightly but just quickly as i was too excited today lol
