Sli or not?

Mobo supports X-fire which is always good ;) Should be no problem with that CPU, is it overclocked though? If not then I'd highly reccomend overclocking it before you get dual cards.

PSU looks ok. I'm hesistant to trust the CX PSU's for X-fire because they havent got the same quality as an Antec, Seasonic etc. Checking it now.

Looks to have enough PCI-E cables according to Corsairs website:

And Hexus gave it a good review (couldnt find on on Johny's)

Ah thats good, however why do i have to overclock my cpu? as atm its not overclocked , i got the hyper 212 evo as the cpu cooler but ye i have never overclocked before , and also i was just reading that there are a lot of games like assassin creed 3 which dose not really support croosfire

It entirely depends on what games your playing and your monitor resolution. If your running 1 1080P monitor then a 7950 will pretty much max every game out there with your current CPU. Some games like BF4 though may require dual cards for max settings but until the real BF4 is released we wont know.

Dual 7950 is a lot of grunt and if you go dual 7950 in demanding games you'll run out of CPU grunt first most likely (effectively a bottleneck). Overclocking your CPU to around 4.4Ghz (a reasonable overclock) means you'll have more CPU and GPU grunt to alieve any system bottlenecks. Remember a computer only runs as fast as its slowest component.

Hope that makes sense :)

ah aright i get it, i am just scared that i have no idea how to overclock atm so i think i need to learn how to do that otherwise i could blow it up. But ye i think i will switch to the 7950 crossfire as i have heard good things about it compared to the gtx 770.

2x7950s overclocked would be faster than 2x770s.

Only if the 770s aren't overclocked at which point the 770s become faster again (at 1080p).

High res / triple screen is a different story of course.

To be honest at the current price, two 7950s are an absolute no brainer.

If you check the CPU and Overclocking sub threads you can find some pretty handy information there :) Providing you avoid the Intel vs AMD arguements :p
