hi,i have a bfg8800watercooled edition graphics card and was thinking of upgrading.shall i get another 8800gtx cheap or get a gtx470 when they come out.will i see much difference do u think?
 
can sell my gtx now for about 80quid i think.so i will have about 300quid to spend. got striker extreme with [email protected] 4gig of kingston extreme.kandalf super tower.swifttech watercooled the cpu and graphics card.
 
Single 5850 would definitely be my suggestion then. Keep the rest of the cash and save for upgrading the rest of the rig later on :)
 
woul it be easy to take the 8800gtx out the water loop.can i just put an adaptor on it or something like that,so i dont have to strip it all down.also how much are the graphic cards and what ones best.thanks

Would need more info on your setup tbh, I imagine it shouldnt be too difficult to sort out though.

OcUK's range is here, most out of stock though. There are also some water blocks you can fit if you want to incorporate your new card here.
 
ok thanks for the help alex.that looks like my best bet.they look nice cards.also with a waterblock i can just pop it straight in.not bad price.
 
where can i seel my gtx.wheres the best place u think.i cant use ebay because i dont know how to and it seems like a lot of hassle.any ideas.
 
5850 would be the best option or even a 5870 Since you would gain preformance much higher then a 8800gtx SLI config and DX11 /drool
