SLI performance mode, which is the best?

I'd go with nv recommend, simply because they would (ought?) to have tested a given game with each of their profiles and then chosen the one with the best performance that has the fewest issues.

I wish AMD gave you an option for Crossfire :(
 
Thanks mate, I am using nVidia recommended atm, but I just thought that some of the other options might have given better performance.
 
I'd stick with nVidia reccomended - the only time you need to change it is for games that don't have an official SLI profile yet - and thats usually best done through nHancer so you can get the compatibility flags for the engine (as 9/10 games are built on an already established engine).
 
Hey Rroff, do you know if there's an equivalent of nHancer for AMD?
The (HDR) sky in Fallout 3 flickers like nuts for me with Crossfire turned on and it'd be interesting selecting some of the other modes that they've chosen to not expose...
