SLI plus Soundcard?

Happy holidays folks,


Seeing the latest price crash of the current 480 cards, I am very tempted to get a second one. However I currently use an Asus Xonard sound card, and really love it, I was wondering if I would have to get rid of it if I went the SLI 480 route...

can always sell your current sound card to get a pci-e sound card for the top slot and that will allow you to go sli.

I take it the soundcard is pci,if so you could use the orange pci-e slot which i believe is x8 and then use another in x16 for sli,but then that depends on what case you have you would need 8 expansion slot case atleast.
