SLI Problem

I have recently purchased a PC from overclockers and the SLI option is working correctly.

When I plug my DVI cable into one of my graphics cards I get a a visual on my screen but if I plug it into the other card I get nothing. Is this normal for SLI setups?

Yes its normal you need to plug your monitor in to the upper card.

yes i think when sli is on the bottom card's outputs are disabled and on xp you can only have one display active, but on vista you can run 2

yes definitely correct it will only run a monitor from the top card

Yeah thanks guys I fought it worked like that but doubting myself and what not. I got it working in the end. The problem was the bridge connecting the cards was the wrong way round. Swapped it round and then the PC recognised the sli connection
