Hi

I currently have 2 x Asus GTX670 in SLI

Problem is i only ever play at 1920x1080p.
There are lots of games that only use one of my 670s and the other just sits idle.
Am i doing something wrong or is SLI only for multi monitors?

Im thinking off selling them both and getting either a 780 or a TITAN

Opinions? i really like playing games MAX settings high FPS

You have to enable SLI in control panel. Click on 3D performance and both will be in SLI.

You'll have to do this every time you install new drivers too. Don't know why nvidia decided not to enable it by default (especially if it was enabled before new drivers were installed) but thats what you'll have to do...

Make sure you have gone there and enabled Maximize 3D performance.

What nvidia need to do is stop naming that option 'maximise 3d performance'

It's ridiculous that they call it that. It should say 'Enable SLI'. Not hard nvidia.

Agreed. Even if they put it in brackets (enable SLI) after 'maximise 3D performance' would help.
