Sli Problems - Works fine when disabled!

I have x2 GTX 460 2GB in Sli, had them for about 2 years I think.

All of a sudden I am getting blue shadowing effect in games when Sli is enabled.

If i disable Sli it works fine?!?

I have removed and tested with 1 card at a time and swapped the cards round. Replaced the Sli cable, updated nVidia drivers and general Windows updates. Still no luck.

Any suggestions?

Did you test them both in each of the PCIe slots? Maybe one slot has died?

I have 3 PCI-E Slots onboard and have tried a mixture...

Are they getting too hot? It could be the memory is hot and that is a form of artifacting.

Afterburner is running and shows about 75oC for each card. Well under max temp.

Works ok with games in Window mode and not full screen...
