Hi

I’m thinking about buying an additional 8800 GTX BFG and just wanted to double check that my spec will be cable of running these cards in SLI!?

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
Abit AW9D-MAX Intel 975X (Socket 775)
OCZ GameXStream 700w SLI ready ATX2 Power Supply

My only concern is the motherboard as I believe it doesn’t officially support SLI?
I looked in the box and it did come with a Dual Graphic link cable so I assume it will be ok?

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks
Alan

You can't run SLI on an Intel chipset board officially, there's been rumours of it happening for months but nothing definite has been announced yet. There were a set of hacked drivers out there that allowed it but they are a very old version (86 .xx). If you want SLI as of now you'll need to get an Nvidia chipset based board, preferably a 680i.
