SLI Question

I'm in the middle of building a new PC with 2 XFX Geforce 8800's in it. I've noticed the the cards have 2 sli connectors on board but I've only got 1 connector wire.

Do I need to buy another wire to join the second connectors together as well ?

are you talking about the power connectors to the cards?

I think that the 2nd connector is to connect 3 cards together so the 3rd card can do physics calculation.

That makes sense I suppose. I'll just try it with the single connector and see what happens.

A single connector is fine. The second connector is rumoured to be for future compatibility with Quad SLI (if they get it to work this time around).
