Does Sli only work for games that are designed with Sli in mind. Or does it improve the frame rate for all games that were not designed to use Sli

You can add your own SLI profiles in the nvidia control panel

SLI works great for some games and some games it can also be useless..


I had some games where SLI wouldn't work and it given me lower FPS then if i was only using a single card..;)

know i can add profiles, but i don't want to buy a 2nd GTX 460 and find that there has been no improvement to the frame rates. The game i am thinking of particularly Is SH5
which very graphic intensive.
