Sli question

Hi chaps,

Just a quick question, i recently upgraded from a 5850 to a MSI GTX 580 1.5gb lightening card primarily for bf3. I can run everything maxed out and fps never really dips bellow 48-50. My question is if i were to grab another msi card for Sli such as a gtx 560 would there be a big enough performance boost to make it worthwhile?

You would need another 580 to SLi, and if I were you I wouldnt bother

The cards have to be a matching pair (not nessasarily the same manufacturer i.e 1 MSI and 1 ASUS) but have to be GTX 580 cards.

I wouldn't bother with the SLI just yet. One 580 is more than enough!

if you had e.g a 6970 then you can xfire it with a 6950, but its not the same for nvidia.
you could have xfired a 5870/5970 with the 5850.
