SLI Question

Hello,

I am currently Running a Asus GTX 460 1gb but have been offered a MSI GTX 460 Cyclone 1GB for £50.

Will I be able to SLI the MSI card along side my Asus? My knowledge of SLI is very limited. Getting this to work would be a nice cheap boost untill the new cards next year.

Have you still got the ASUS M4A78LT-M motherboard?

It only has one x16 PCI-E slot so there's nowhere to put a second card.

That wouldn't make it a cheap upgrade.

If the OP were to get a new motherboard they would have to make sure it was SLI compatible with none of this x16/x4 nonsense.

Most boards for AMD, even with two x16 PCI-E slots, aren't SLI compatible.
