Hi guys I have just finished installing my 2 gtx 670 video cards and when I open the Nvidia control panel I don't see a selection to enable sli like I used to do with my previous N9600 Gt cards. I do have the latest drivers from Nvidia. If there is some kind of automatic sli operation then how do you know when it is on. In GPU-Z 0.7.2 it says sli disabled although it does recognise both cards present. Thanks for any help George.

I used to have this problem, sometimes it seemed it was the SLI bridge connector so I cleaned the cards SLI contacts with TIM cleaner.

Also updated mobo BIOS to latest.

But there is no auto SLI setting as you put it.

You can connect the SLI bridge upside down by accident too so try changing it around also i had this issue with a Nvidia driver before but not in the latest ones.

Do you have a SLI bridge connecting both cards?

sli bridge is on

Try reseating the cards.. did that......

Also I noticed I tried to setup my 3D again and setup fails.

Thanks guys.

Is there some sort of logo you can have on screen when gaming like the AMD crossfire one?

What would a logo have to do with this the prob is in Nvidia control panel the selection to enable sli is not present and it should be also setup of 3D fails.

I am begining to think i should go back to the older drivers..

Sorry i was just asking a question, I know it was nothing to do with the problem.

Ok guys I have reverted the drivers back to Ver 314.22 I now have 3D again. but when Nvidia control panel is opened there is no selection to enable sli both cards are recognised in Geforce experience and Gpu-z so they must be seated proper have checked that also tried rotating the sli strip..

Might be worth checking both cards on their own to make sure they are both working

Both cards work all that is wrong now is the sli selection does not show up in nvidia control panel and gpu-z states sli disabled....

I have verified with the m/board manual that both cards are indeed in the 16x slots.

The m/board is a ROG rampage IV formula.

The main prob is just that in Nvidia control panel the Set SLI configuration menu does not appear. Thanks for your help guys but this is driving me nuts. George..
