Hi all.......what I would like to know is,
If you have a SLI Ready card and you wish to pair two cards up do they have to be identical or will any card work as long as it's SLI Enabled, also would both need to be in sort of PCI slot !!

Hi welcome to the forums.

Cards can be different brands, EG, MSI and Gigabyte will woirk together but they need to be the same type of card, eg a GTX460 will only SLI with another GTX460 :)

Both need a PCI-E x16 slot, and lastly you need a SLI rerady motherboard.
