Sli-ready memory and not sli motherboard

Hi. I want to buy that memory 2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS3, DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600) 240 Pin, Non-ECC, CAS 9-9-9-24, NVIDIA EPP 2.0

It will be compatible with my non sli ready motherboard Asus P5Q3 Deluxe/WIFI-AP ???

It will, but you typically pay more (A lot more last time i checked) for the EPP 2.0 (The Nvidia SLI bit of the memory), so you'de be better off going for standard XMS3 DDR3 1600mhz and saving yourself the cash

there really is no point in the EPP 2.0 since it doesnt actuly increase your performance that much considering the cost difference involved.

ive got some kicking around somewhere but they are iphone qulity so they aint that great, il see if i can dig them out.
