SLI same card but different make?

I bought a 9600GT a while ago off overclockers, its the cheap one they do with no branding, anwyay i just seen another cheap one made by asus. It has the same specs as my card but would it work in SLI still?

Cheers, but just out of curiosity what exactly is upscalling, i heard it before but dont know what it means.

Yes i do dont worry, so these cards have good upscaling then. Should be good!
