ive tried my new 980ti's and i cant seem to get above 50% usage of each even as low as 30% what gives has nvidia dropped its sli support? i remeber it being rather good when i had 670's 90+%

^ this & if you really want to check if they can actually be used to there full potential you can run skmething like fire strike that will max out any configuration. If they don't both ramp up on that then it's likely something is wrong.

cpu is 3930k @4.7

game are metro crysis 3 fallout4 gtav

im playin at 1440p

I have the sli scaler on and most of the time its 50-60% which isnt much better than one card very disappointing :(

If you're playing at 1440p 60hz, you probably only need 50-60% GPU to max it out.

At 1440p 144hz, I often find a single 980 (non-ti) can hit 60fps. The second is more to hit 100 ;)

This a fair point.
@OP what does the games play like? do they feel smooth etc? like above if you hitting the frame rate cap your GPUs wont need much load to reach this.

I have the acer predator 27" 144z ips screen and I run gsync so there is no reason they should be holding back i even set my gpu at 5ghz to make sure there was no bottle neck on a fresh install of windows 10 :(

they feel smooth but thats just down to gsync you can tell wen a game is over 100 fps and i just cant seem to get it 1 card is just below 70-90 so was hoping a second would get me a steady 144 in all my games.
