SLI Setup - 4 Outputs, all usable?

I can't seem to find out from searching, but if you have an SLI setup, can you use all 4 outputs from the graphics card, or are you limited to 2?

Also, if having the cards in SLI limits the outputs to 2, what happens if you don't enable SLI on a dual-pci-express x16 board with 2 cards in, will it then let you use all the outputs?

I just don't want to spend a small fortune on a new PC, only to find out that I can't do what I hope! (I tried adding a PCI graphics card to my current PC to allow me more outputs, but the system wouldn't even boot).

Thanks in advance to anyone who knows!

As I understand it you're limited to 1 graphics output with SLi enabled. You could turn it off and have access to all four though.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

yeh you can use all 4 outputs as far as i know, just when you enable SLI that you are limited to one output

Just to further make sure I don't get things wrong, if I put a 7950 GX2 and a 6200 into the 2 PCI-x16 slots, I shouldn't expect compatibility problems should I, while still being able to use all 4 outputs?

Check compatability between the 6200 and the latest nv drivers ( which should usually be used for the GX2) but no in general I would expect both being recent cards to be compatable
