SLI Setup

Hi,

I'm buying another MSI GTX 770 2GB and have a quick question regarding where to place my graphics cards into my motherboard. The motherboard I have is MSI Z87-G45.

There are 3 different locations which I can place my graphics card into.

Would I be able to run SLI in slot 1 & 2? (That's PCI_E2 and PCI_E5)
Or does it have to be slots 2 & 3? (That's PCI_E5 and PCI_E7)

I need to know due to lack of space in my case. If I place my graphics card in slot 3 then the power supply will be in the way of the GPU fans.
