Wondering if you guys could help out, I've got myself another 670 (so two Gigabyte gtx 670 windforce cards) and Ive connected them with the Sli cable, but how do I know if it's working, I haven't tried a benchmark yet. Do you connect the cable to the far left side of the card, or the far right of the card? Total sli noob here! :)

For just two cards in SLI I don't believe it matter what bit of PCB you connect the SLI bridge too either the left or the right (I always connect mine to the left anyway). Then once you have it connected, get into windows and reinstall/update your Nvidia drivers then finally go to the nvidia control panel and enable SLI.

That should be right...

Have you been into the Nvidia control panel and enabled SLI? It is disabled by default, and it needs re-enabling after each driver update.

Doesn't it normally pop up stating you have two card yadda yadd, do you want to enable sli? it did with my 480's
Yep, on rebooting after the driver install, a popup will appear stating "sli capable system detected", from here you can set sli in the nv control panel.

@the op, nice choice of cards, you should see some great increases in performance. Currently saving for another wf 670 myself.

I'm benchmarking away with the Heaven benchmark, this time with SLI turned on, the second GTX 670 info listed top right is showing memory 324Mhz and Temp 21c, the first card is 3004Mhz and 58ishC - shouldn't they both be looking similar?

Ha, ok, my mistake, I had been running the same test without setting SLI again in the Nvidia control panel. So with SLI, 1920x1080p, High quality, Tesselation normal I score FPS 94.6 total score 2382 - min fps 27.3 max 204.6. No idea if that is in the right ballpark or not :D
