SLI with 2 different brands?

Hey guys was just wondering if you could SLI 2x 1gb GTX 460's if there were of different brand names?

I.e. MSI and Asus together?

I have just had a quick read around and although some people are saying there can be an issue if you have different memory sizes (ie 1 card with 1gb and 1 card with 768mb) it would seem that different manufactures with same spec cards is ok.
 
As long as they have the same series (ie GTX 460's) & the same memory size then there will be no problems.
