dont bother unless your fav game gets a boost to raise the minimum

in most fps games I turn off all the eyecandy anyway so I can see whats coming

If your going to 'only' be playing WOW just get a 4850 as it's not that extremly demanding. Games such as COD4 scale very well but then others don't, more info like you resolution you play at and other games you play would be a help

I bloody know..

I can see your stay here not lasting too long.

Your original post implied you intended to replace your graphics setup, the advise on your motherboard was spot on. Grow up, people were trying to be helpful.

I bloody know, I would upgrade my motherboard, ive said that.

Kindly read the posts before commenting, It states im looking at upgrading, and I want to see the performance hike from 1 card to 2 from SLI/XFire.

............

I take it your not a world of warcraft player or ever played it!

Can't even be bothered to reply to idiots like this. If you can't be polite to people trying to help then it might be best not to post at all.

Im sorry I was harsh, but people really just assume wow's some crappy old game that requires a DX2-66 to run, which in fact it is one of the MOST DEMANDING games ive ever played, anyone who's raided Black Temple/Mount Hyjal // Nax etc Will know!

TBH, I dont even play WoW at max quality either, If you set the draw distance to max and the quality/decals to max, just flying through the woods puts your FPS below 20, and thats without AA.

Well i have played it but was un-impressed but thats a bit off topic however please improve your attitude or you won't get any help in the future. I wasn't comparing COD4 to WOW i was just saying that it's a game that scales well with CF and SLI. I reccomend this card http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp... GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail
It can't be beaten based on bang for buck however not sure whether it can handle WOW possibly 20 Fps on low with draw distances down

WoW is pretty much CPU limited, you can get pretty much near linear increases in FPS by overclocking the CPU.

Great minds and all that.
Pretty much said here, ramp up your cpu because i have seen a few reviews that clearly state that it is quite cpu dependant.
