Is it possible to dual a GeForce 6600GT with a card such as the GeForce 7600GT?

I am looking for a new graphics card roughly in the area of £150 and would like to know firstly whether this is possible, secondly what kind of effect this has (basically whether both cards will give their full benefit), and thirdly what card I should get.

Sorry but the cards have to be the same model: 6600GT or 7600GT but not a combination of both. They don't have to be the same manufacturer though.

In this case I'm looking for a new single card to replace the 6600GT, any recommendations?
 
Most definitely an x1800xt. By far and away the best deal for £150 at the moment.

I'm guessing I would need a different motherboard to be compatible, my current one is an nForce 4.
