Hi everybody,
need help here. I just moved my ancient i7 4700k with a miniITX motherboard to a bigger case (Silverstone GD09) waiting to upgrade it to a 13th Intel later this year.
I also bought an ASUS 3070 TUF (I had a GTX770) but the problem is that since it's a miniITX board, the PCIe slot is "too near" the CPU and height of the GPU interferes with the "metal horizontal bar" in the case.
Is it possible to use a PCIe riser like this one so to "slide" the GPU to the further left PCIe expansion slots? I can't secure the riser itself to the case but the GPU will be fixed of course with the bracket. Will it bend the GPU since the PCIe slot wouldn't be at the same "height" of the motherboard?
Image example.
Thank you!
