Slide Scanner

Searched but all the threads on this seem quite old now.

Looking to get a new slide scanner for my dad as his old Canon scanner with a slide insert isn't supported by Windows 10.

Are these dedicated slide scanners you see on Amazon for ~£50 any good? I'm not expecting professional send away quality but comparable to a flatbed scanner?

Try vuescan before dismissing the old canon scanner. Works great with my old Minolta scan dual iii which has not been supported since xp.

Looks good but £67 to get the slide scanning feature is a bit pricey

Guess I could build a windows 7 vm but I was hoping to keep it simple.
