I can't in a life find how to view a folders of images as a slideshow on Lions OSX I have highlighted all images and right click but no option to play as slideshow as suggested on several sites..

Any help?

If you were to open them in Preview I think that gives a slideshow option.

Open them in Preview and hit Shift + Command + F.

Select the photos, hit the spacebar et voila!
