Slight concern with sending my phone to Mazuma/all the others...

I have a U600 thats not working anymore, The buttons dont work so I cant get into the phone but I do have texts, numbers and pictures stored on the phone. I dont know if there is anything important on there but I really doubt it. Is there a risk with sending my phone to them?
