I have had the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 4000 for a while now, and whilst i have been happy with its performance, a niggling error keeps occuring.
Whenever i am doing file movements within windows explorer, i use the ctrl key so i can select multiple items. After i have selected more than 2-4 items, its as if the ctrl key "resets" to off, and i have to start over. The only way i can get round this is to let go of ctrl and re-press for every file.

Is this an side effect of the basic wireless technology? Or is there something i can do within XP to help combat this. Battery levels are good, and the reciever is within 2 feet of the keyboard.
Curious because I have just bought the 5000 for my Dad for christmas. Whenever he gets anything new for his PC, my phoneline becomes a PC Heldesk
