Hi guys,

just put computer into a corsair 800d and just got a new soundcard, the soundcard has a metal cover on it and the only place spare to put a 1x soundcard is at the top, the problem is there is a 1cm gap between the soundcard metal cover and the GFX card if they were to touch would it short the gfx card, it touches if i push the soundcard but obviously it is not going to just fall but am i best to put something over the soundcard to stop them touching accidentally.

Hope this makes sense.

I have 2 5870's in a Asus P6T v1 any suggestions would be great.

Thanks.

Am i the only one who read the title as 'Space issue souncard/gfx'? As in cards they use on shuttles and the like? :p

I mean, they probably don't use either, but still...

How can you push them together if they are 1cm away from each other?

If they are going to contact when knocking the case then yea you need to do something, if they dont then dont worry.
