slight temperature worry

For the last few weeks ive been running my X1900XT at speeds of 690/1600

The temperatures however still only read 42 at idle and 74 at full load. Is this reading actually right considering im using the stock cooler? I was under the impression it would begin to overheat if i went over the XTX speeds

That temperature seems fine. I think the X1900's usually hit 90 degrees under full load. So you seem safe for now!

Yup agree with the above, x1900's normally hit around the 90's so that is very good, my x1800 XT idles at 59, and only goes to about 71 underload and its perfectly fine.

they are designed to run hot my x1800xt idles at 60 degrees and is load of 70 to 80
