Slightly concerned/confused noob

OK, so I confess i know almost nothing about overclocking, but I've just installed a new Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2 to cool my PC.
But on checking the new temps of my Q6600 I'm confused: Speedfan is showing it idling at 24-6 C but Core Temp always has it as being 10 degrees higher - so idling at around 35 C!

My question is - which should I believe?? Any suggestions?

Yes, CoreTemp is definitely using a TJ Max of 100, but I can't see how to find out what Speedfan is using.

I just wondered because those temps aren't very much lower than I had with my old stock cooler
