Slightly Confused and Puzzled, strange issues with PS5

So it works consistently with hdmi port 1 on the tv but not port 2?
Yes the HDMI 1 port works perfectly, it is connected to something else, but no issue there. It is HDMI port 2, that seems to be causing issues, the PS5 is fine, the HDMI cable is fine, it is just the issue from the video I posted yesterday. AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Also I used the new High Speed HDMI Cable, from the PS5 directly into the TV into HDMI 2, the secondary HDMI port and quelle surprise, it did the flickering............. AAAAAAAAGAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

So it sounds like the TV HDMI port 2 is faulty. Does it work if you run everything through the splitter into TV port 1?
Again I put the HDMI Splitter into HDMI Port 1, and with the new HDMI Cable, which is a high speed one, The same issue happened. What is plugged into HDMI 1 at the moment though is a Virgin Box, no issues. It is not the PS5 either as when I booted that up, the main starting screen appeared perfectly without any issues at all. Then of course with the HDMI Splitter which is not faulty, it then started to flicker again.

AAAAAAAAAAGAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

HDMI Port 1, works fine with the Virgin Media Box thing. But with the PS5, again it was flickering.............. AAAAAAAAGAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. It is certainly not the PS5

This isn't going to sound like much help, but if it's happening after a while rather than instantly, I wonder if something is getting hot and possibly braking a connection.

It has been happening both instantly and also after a while. Definitely not getting hot as the PS5 is well ventilated........... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yet another day, and some interesting and quirky things.
  1. On the main TV, which has been bugging me, tried the PS5, and the flickering as can be seen in the video, that I posted was still happening, even when I took the HDMI Cable out of the splitter and ran it through HDMI Port 1 and HDMI Port 2! And yet the Virgin Box, when it is in HDMI Port 1, No problem at all. Odd possibly, and it is not the PS5 that is faulty.
  2. Spare TV, inserted the HDMI Cable into the HDMI Port, and no problem at all, working fine.
So why does the PS5 not work with the main TV, which is a newer Bravia, yet will work with the Virgin Media Box? And how do I go about getting the PS5 to work with the main TV..................... AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

If it’s working fine through a different tv then you’ve ruled out the PS5. Could be the Bravia doesn’t matter if it’s newer. Is it under warranty?

I do get that happening sometimes. I fixed it by getting a new TV. I notice the light under your TV momentarily went off at the same time. Mine used to have issues with saying resolution not supported despite being halfway through a game. Also why is there tape on either side of your TV?

There is not tape on the side of the TV, it is the plastic that came with it, that has not been taken out.

I do not think so, it is a newer Bravia. Yet the wired thing is that it has been fine until this week, so why is it not working............... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Yet why with the Virgin Media Box, does nothing happen?

Has anything been updated on the newer Bravia this week to cause the change? From what you have said it seems like the issue is the new Bravia and maybe worth contacting the retailer to say it has an intermittent fault which has developed.

Yet again another sordid afternoon weather wise. And yet again more confusion remains, so the following I have done today, and quelle surprise,
  1. Tried the HDMI Cable into both HDMI Port 1 and HDMI Port 2, directly from the PS5, again I did the same yesterday and the same issues happen! Yet the VIRGIN MEDIA BOX, is plugged into HDMI Port 1, and does not have these issues........ AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  2. Tried again by turning the TV Completely off at the wall, leaving it for 5 minutes, turning it back on etc, still the same issues.
  3. Tried the HDMI Splitter again that is not faulty, in both HDMI Port 1 and also in HDMI Port 2, and same issues, again though THE VIRGIN MEDIA BOX is plugged into HDMI Port 1, and nothing happens, no issues, so why the PS5........AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  4. And yesterday tried an older Bravia, a spare TV, no issues at all.
Literally all I want to do is to use the newer bravia, which I have been doing for the past couple of years, and whilst it works with the VIRGIN MEDIA BOX, the PS5 will not work, so what to do? New TV................... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
