Slightly OT: If you have multiple monitors, what do you do with your speakers?

Hi all,

I have a 22" belinea 1680x1050 from OcUK, it's been working great for years and I'm happy with it, but as my music gets more complex I'm running out of room So I'm considering getting a second one.

Thing is, that would be about as wide as my desk can take, and I don't know where I'd put the speakers (Harman Kardon vertical ones). I figured this might be a common problem, so if you have multiple monitors, particularly dual ones side by side, what do you do with your speakers?

I've tried putting them sideways and my first experiments didn't yield much. I do have a nice pair of cans (Sennheiser 580s) but I prefer to use speakers for monitoring most of the time. This just seems a geometrical logistics issue
